Russian military museums are so good because they are part of the Russian propaganda. Russians will have tons of stuff on WWII and Napoleonic wars, but they will have nothing on WWI or the Russo-Japanese war because military defeats aren't as good for the propaganda purposes.

"AfD are nothing like Nazis"...with all due respect, but I have to strongly disagree here. Over the last 10 years, AfD has changed from being a collecting basin for all those prone to believing populist claims towards a full-fledged extreme right wing party that is now being monitored as such by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution in several states. The number of AfD MPs and functionaries who are being convicted for criminal acts such as incitement to racial hatred keeps growing every week. Of course, not all supporters of this party are Nazis, but through their support, they all actively agree with open racism, antisemitism as well as folkish nationalism and homophobia to name just a few. Also, you do see wastelands in the western parts of Germany, and roads are definitely not better in the west than they are in the east. In fact, statistically speaking, it's more of the opposite since the "old west" has been somewhat neglected in this regard since reunification due to a massive need for renewal in the east after decades of scarcity. Unfortunately, and I am most sorry to say this, the depiction of Germany given in the first part of this interview is outdated and superficial. Alright. Back to trains. 😉
